Janus Architecture have redesigned the existing Hoeford Bus Depot including providing new EV charging points for 62 Wrightbus single-deck GB Kite Electroliners. The site redevelopment was possible due to the demolition of an underused maintenance workshop and replacement with the construction of a purpose-built brake tester building.

The EV works were completed over two phases with the installation of two steel framed gantries for the EV charging following demolition of the existing building. The DC charging equipment which was installed consisted of Heliox Rapid 150 column and floor chargers.

The project also included various internal works to the existing staff accommodation to provide a new Allocations Office and Driver Training Centre.
