Janus Architecture have designed a new maintenance workshop to allow double decker buses to be maintained at the First Bus depot in Rochdale as part of the TFGM franchise.

A purpose-built steel framed workshop was designed to provide adequate width and height to allow the lifting and maintenance of double-deck vehicles. With additional space for storage and workbenches, alongside a new headlamp testing unit, the facility compliments existing workshop capacity on site and allows efficient servicing of the Manchester Bee Network Buses.
